Vicky interviewed by Diamond Dunhill at Trixies

I'm not sure how many of you know Trixies Bar in Hollywood, FL or know of it's status, but, Stanley, the owner of Trixies, passed away, unexpectedly, about 2 weeks ago and Trixies is currently closed. We are doing what we can to see what can be done to get Trixies opened up again. On one of the last nights that Trixies was open, before anyone realized that Stanley had passed away, Vicky and I were there and Diamond Dunhill, a good friend of ours who's also originally from Boston, did a short interview with Vicky that's included below...

    Wow! That was really great! I sure hope that Trixies survives, would be a tragic loss. Keep us informed on the progress to reopen it. Danika Cool

It was the place were I have met most of my friends.  It has been the place of countless good times.  Last time I saw Stan, it was like the old times, he cracked a few jokes and told me to come more often.  I told him I would and next time I showed up I didn't see him.  My friend Jay told me he had not seen him in more than a week, and I thought it was strange.  2 days later, someone called me and gave me the bad news.  I am not sure what to say next time someone asks me where to go, when they visit So. Florida...

    So Sorry to hear the news... Jeannie Girl May 31st, 2009 6:15 am MDT Diamond, I was sad to hear about Stanley and the closing of Trixie's.  Several years ago when I decided it was time to go out as "Jeannie" I went to Trixie's.  It has a special meaning in my  journey and will be remember dearly and with respect.  I haven't lived in S. Florida for over a year now.  I wish you well and the Trixie family. Jeannie -
